Vegetable Kebab Recipe


  • Grated Vegetables – 1 cup (carrot/beans/broccoli)
  • Oil – 1 Tbsp
  • Onion – 1 Tbsp (chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  • Grated cheese – 2 Tbsp
  • Boiled Potato – 1
  • Bread – 1 slice
  • Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped – 2 tsp
  • Bread crumbs – ½ cup
  • Oil – for frying
  • Salt


(Note: 1 = 250 ml

You can use vegetables of your choice

Vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level)

Method: (With Step-by-Step Pics)


Grate or finely slice vegetables of your choice



Heat oil in a pan add sliced onion and sauté till it becomes soft. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a min. Add pepper powder, salt and vegetables and mix well. Sprinkle little water, cover and cook it it becomes soft.



Add cheese and mix well. Cover and cook till cheese melts. Remove from stove




Add chopped coriander leaves, chilli powder, mashed boiled potato, crumbled bread and salt and mix well. Do a taste test now.



Apply little oil to your hands and take small portion of it. Make it into small oval shape and insert a wooden skewer.



Now roll it in bread crumbs



Fry in oil until golden brown. Alternatively you can grill it, or bake it, brushing little butter in between



Remove excess oil in a paper towel. Serve hot.
