Mini Sausage Rolls Recipe


 

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry sheet – 1
  • Egg – 1
  • Sesame Seeds

 

For the filling:

  • Minced meat – 200g
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp

 

(Note: Vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level

The stuffing prepared should be spicy, intensity reduces once it’s baked)

Preheat the oven to 200 Deg C. Take the puff pastry sheet.

To make the stuffing. Heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste, add all spice powders and sauté for a min or two. Add minced meat and mix well. Add enough water and cover and cook till meat is cooked well. If water is there cook uncovered till water dries up and is completely dry. Now stuffing is ready. Place the prepared stuffing along the length of puff pastry

Roll it tightly and press the edges so it get sealed

Cut into one inch long pieces

Place it on the baking tray.

Brush it with beaten egg

Sprinkle few sesame seeds on the top of each roll

Bake it for 25-30 mins or till it becomes golden brown in color and gets puffed well. Serve hot.
