Tri Color Dessert Recipe


For Bottom Layer (Pannacotta Layer):                                                                                               

  • Heavy Cream – ½ cup
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Gelatin – ¾ tsp (unflavored)
  • Cold Water – 1 ½ Tbsp
  • Sugar – 3-4 tsp
  • Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
  • Green Food Color – few drops
  • Cashew nuts

For Middle Layer

  • Whipping Cream – ½ cup
  • Vanilla essence – 2 drops
  • Powdered Sugar – 2 Tbsp
  • Condensed Milk – 3 Tbsp
  • Cashew nuts

For Top Layer

  • Grated Carrot – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 2 Tbsp
  • Sugar – 2 Tbsp
  • Powdered Biscuit
  • Cashew nuts


(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml

Vary the amount of sugar as per your sweet level)






Bottom Layer

  • Take cold water and add gelatin into it and mix well. Wait for 5 min or till gelatin blooms well.
  • In a pan take milk, heavy cream and sugar. When it’s about to boil remove it from stove
  • Add ¾ of the bloomed gelatin prepared and mix well so that it dissolves fully. Add vanilla essence, green food color and allow it to cool down.
  • Pour it in 3 or 4 short serving glass and chill it for 5 to 6 hrs. The bottom layer is ready. Put few chopped cashew nuts above it

Middle Layer

  • To make the cream, keep the steel bowl, whisk of the hand mixer and whip cream in the freezer for 10 mins. Pour the whip cream in the cold bowl. Add powdered sugar and essence. Whip in medium to high speed till cream doubles in volume and soft peaks are formed.
  • Add condensed milk and gently mix. Put a layer of over the bottom layer and add few chopped cashew nuts

Top Layer

  • Heat ghee in a pan and add grated carrot and mix well
  • Add sugar, sprinkle little water. Cover and cook till carrot becomes soft
  • Allow it to cool down and put a layer of it, till glass is filled to the top
  • Garnish with some powdered biscuit and cashew nuts
  • Chill it and your dessert is ready. Enjoy!!!!!
