Ingredients:

  • Raw banana – ¾ Cup (cubed)
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Curd – 1 1/2  cup
  • Fenugreek Powder – ½ tsp
  • Ghee – 1tsp
  • Oil – 3 Tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
  • Dry red chilli – 2-3
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt

 

To Grind:

  • Grated cocnut – ½ cup
  • Green chilli – 3-4
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

 

Method: (With Step-by-Step Pictures)

Cut banana into small cubes

 

Take all the ingredients to grind in a blender

 

Grind it well. Sprinkle little water if required

 

Take the sliced banana in a pan with 1 cup of water. Add salt and turmeric powder. Cooked covered till banana becomes soft.

 

Add grinded coconut mixture, fenugreek powder, ghee and cook for another 5-6 mins

In a bowl mix the curd well

 

Reduce the flame and add it to the pan. Now the curry should just get heated and should not boil. Remove it from stove.

 

For tempering in a pan heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves and dry red chilli. Pour it over the curry prepared.

 

Mix well and serve hot.
