Beef Pepper Roast Recipe
Ingredients:
- Beef – 500g (cut into small pieces)
- Fennel seeds – ½ tsp
- Onion – 1
- Green Chilli – 3-4
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Pepper – 2 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Oil – 5 Tbsp
- Salt
To Marinate
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 Tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 ½ tsp
- Salt
(Note: Vary the amount of chilli and pepper as per your spice level)
Method: (With Step-by-Step Pictures)
Cut the beef into small pieces.
Take green chilli and pepper in a blender
Grind it well
Add it to beef pieces
Also add all the ingredients to marinate to the beef pieces
Mix well
Pressure cook marinated beef till beef is cooked well. (no need to add water. Go for 4-5 whistles. Switch off the stove. Wait for the pressure to drop down and open the cooker)
Heat oil in a pan and splutter fennel seeds.
Add sliced onion and curry leaves.
When onion becomes soft add ginger garlic paste
Sauté for a min or two.
Add all spice powders and sauté for a min or two
Add cooked beef
Mix well
Cook in medium flame till beef is completely dry. Keep stirring in between and add little oil if its sticking to the pan.
Switch of the stove when beef becomes becomes brown in color. Serve hot.
