Mutta Thoran Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Eggs  – 4
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
  • Onion – 1
  • Chilli Powder  – ½  tsp
  • Ginger  garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ½  tsp
  • Grated coconut  –  ½  cup
  • Black pepper (powdered freshly) – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Oil
  • Salt

(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml. Vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level)


 

Method:

  1. Beat eggs well, add salt and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a nonstick pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add sliced onions and curry leaves.
  4. Once onion is golden brown in color add ginger garlic paste. Cook for 2-3 min.
  5.  Add chilli powder and  turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
  6. Add beaten eggs  and on the top of it add grated coconut and pepper.
  7. Stir well so that eggs are scrambled.
  8. Keep stirring in medium flame till its dry.
  9. Serve hot with rice.
