Chicken Roast Masala Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 500g (boneless)
- Onion – 2
- Tomato – 1 big
- Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste/crushed – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Oil – ½ cup
- Salt
To Marinate:
- Kashmiri/Mild Chilli powder – 2 ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste/crushed – 2 ½ tsp
- Chicken/Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Salt
(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml.
Vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level)
Method: (With Step-by-step pics)
Cut the boneless chicken into small chunks
Add all the ingredients to marinate to chicken and mix well
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry chicken pieces and keep it aside
Chicken just needs to get cooked, no need to become brown
Once chicken is done, to the remaining oil add sliced onion and curry leaves
Saute until its soft. Add sliced tomato and cook until it becomes soft.
Add ginger garlic paste, all spice powders, salt and sauté for another 2-3 mins
Add chicken pieces and mix well (Do a taste test now and add salt or other ingredients if required)
Cover and cook for another 6-8 mins or until oil separates from the gravy. Add few curry leaves on top. Serve hot!!!!
