Chicken Majestic Recipe
Ingredients:
- Chicken – 200g (Boneless)
- Onion – 3 Tbsp (finely chopped)
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri /Mild Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – a handful
- Oil
- Salt
To Marinate:
- Curd – 4 Tbsp
- Egg – 1
- Soya Sauce – 1 ½ tsp
- Kashmiri /Mild chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Cornflour – 2 Tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Salt
(Note: Vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level)
Method: (With Step-by-Step pics)
Wash chicken and press well to remove water from it. Cut chicken into small strips
Add curd first and mix well
Take the remaining all ingredients to marinate in a bowl and mix well. Add it to the chicken pieces and mix well so that chicken gets coated well with masala. Keep the marinated chicken in the fridge for 2-3 hrs. (Longer the better)
Heat oil in a nonstick pan and deep fry the chicken in batches until its light brown in color. Remove it from the pan (when u are frying chicken cover the pan with a lid, so that inside of chicken pieces also gets cooked well)
Fry a handful of curry leaves and keep it aside. Remove excess oil from the pan leaving 3 Tbsp
To the pan add sliced onion, few curry leaves , salt and sauté till onion turns golden brown in color
Add ginger garlic paste, all spice powder and sauté for for a min or two.
Add fried chicken and mix well so that chicken gets coated well with masala.
Put the fried curry leaves on the top and serve hot!!!!!
