Do you like quick and tasty recipes? I am sure for most the answer is yes. Onion Poha is one which fit into this category for breakfast. I had Poha first during my stay in Mumbai. But I never tried to make it at that time. But when I had it here when one of my husband’s friend made it I just loved it. It so simple and quick to make and the best part is my husband is ready to have it without any curry. Now when I realize there is no curry or gravy I immediately make it. Check it out, its one of the easiest recipe that you can try 🙂
Onion Poha Recipe
Ingredients: (Serves 2-3)

- Peanuts – 3 tbsp
- Onion – 1
- Green chilli – 1
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Sugar – 2 tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves – few

Method:
- Rinse the poha in water and allow it to drain. Do this step just before cooking.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Reduce the flame and add peanuts and saute till it turns light golden in color (I prefer it without mustard seeds because of which I didn’t add the same)
