Plum Parfait (Easy Dessert)
Ingredients:
- Plum – 3-4
- Marie Biscuit – 6-8
- Whipping Cream – ½ cup
- Condensed milk – 1/3 cup
- Pink food color – 2-3 drops
- Chocolate Cake – 5-6 slices (recipe here)
- Roasted Cashew nuts/ almonds
- Chocolate Sauce (recipe here)
(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml
Vary the amount of ingredients as per the serving glass used)
Method: (With Step-by-Step Pictures)
Take the plums
Slice it to small pieces and keep it aside
Take Marie biscuit and roasted cashew nuts in a blender and coarsely grind it. Take few serving glass and put a layer of it
To make the cream, keep the steel bowl, whisk of the hand mixer and whip cream in the freezer for 10 mins. Pour the whip cream in the cold bowl. Whip in medium to high speed till cream doubles in volume and soft peaks are formed. Add condensed milk and mix until combined. Do a taste test and add powdered sugar if required. Add pink food color and mix. Put a layer of the cream prepared in the serving glass
Crumble the cake with your hands and put a layer of it in the glass
Top it with a layer of sliced plum
Repeat the above 3 layers so that glass is filled
Finally put a layer of cream and garnish with cherry, chopped nuts and chocolate sauce. Serve and Enjoy!!!!!!
