Eggless Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients: (Makes 14 cookies)
- All purpose flour/Maida – 1 cup less 3 Tbsp
- Cocoa Powder – 3 Tbsp
- Baking soda – ½ tsp
- Powdered sugar – 5-6 Tbsp
- Ghee – ½ cup (melted and cooled)
(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml
Vary the amount of sugar as per your sweet level)
Method: (With Step-by-Step Pictures)
In a bowl mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and powdered sugar
Add ghee little at a time and start mixing
Mix until u get a dough together (Vary the amount of ghee to get the dough together)
Keep it in the fridge for 1 hr. Remove from fridge. Take out small portions of it
Make it into balls, gently press
Place on a baking tray, press with back of a fork
Preheat the oven to 160 degree. Bake in the middle rack for 15-20 mins or till to start getting the baked smell in your kitchen and cracks appears on the cookie. (Rotate the baking tray 180 degree once after 10 mins of baking) When you take it out cookies will be soft. Allow the cookies to cool down completely. Once it cools down you get the correct texture for the cookies. Enjoy!!!!
