Corn Kebab


Corn Kebab Recipe


  • Corn – 2 cup
  • Onion – 1 Tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder – ½ tsp
  • Grated cheese – 1/3 cup
  • Boiled Potato – 2 medium size
  • Bread – 2 slice
  • Bread crumbs – ½ cup
  • Oil
  • Salt


(Note: 1 Cup = 250 ml

Vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level)

Method: (With Step-by-Step pics)


Take the corn. Take it in a pressure cooker. Add 1 cup of water and pinch of salt. Go for one whistle and remove cooker from stove. Wait for pressure to drop and remove the cooked corn. Alternatively u can cook it by putting it in boiling water in an open vessel till it gets cooked



Slice the cooked corn



Take half portion of it and take it in a blender and coarsely grind it



The other half separate it with your fingers



Take both portions together in a bowl. Add onion, ginger garlic paste, all spices, chill, grated cheese, boiled and mashed potato, crumbled bread and salt.



Mix well and keep it in the fridge for some time. It will be easy to work with.



Now make it into small round shapes



Roll it in bread crumbs



Now heat a pan and brush oil well on it.



Place the shaped corn mixture and apply oil on the top as well



Cook until its golden brown on both sides. (Alternatively u can grill it brushing little butter in between). Apply some lemon juice on the top and serve hot
