Caramel Syrup Recipe


  • Sugar – ½ cup
  • Water – ¼ cup

(Note: 1 Cup = 250 ml)


Method: (With Step-by-step pics)

Take a pan and add sugar and add 1tsp of water. Heat it in medium flame


You will notice sugar starts to melt. It will start to boil and slowly will be changing color


Reduce flame and heat until its good brown in color


Remove pan from stove and add water carefully. Mixture will turn to crystal form (Make sure you keep some distance as mixture will splutter while adding water)


No bring it back to boil and make sure all crystals are completely melted


Remove from stove and allow it to cool down completely and use it to make cakes.
