Vanilla Panna Cotta Recipe
Ingredients:
For Panna Cotta:
- Heavy Cream – ½ cup
- Milk – ½ cup
- Vanilla essence – ¾ tsp
- Gelatin – 1 tsp (unflavored)
- Cold Water – 2 Tbsp
- Sugar – 5-6 tsp
- Chopped fruits – of your choice
(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml
Vary the amount of sugar as per your sweet level)
Method: (With Step-by-Step Pictures)
Take cold water and add gelatin into it and mix well. Wait for 5 min or till gelatin blooms well.
In a pan take milk, heavy cream and sugar. When its about to boil remove it from stove
Add vanilla essence
Add bloomed gelatin prepared
Mix well so that it dissolves fully and allow it to cool down.
Pour it in 2 or 3 short serving glass and chill it for 5 to 6 hrs. Once the panna cotta is set, put the chopped fruits on the top. I poured little store bought strawberry syrup also on the top. Serve and enjoy!!!!!!

Dear, should we use fresh cream or whipping cream for pannacotta?
Dear Malathi,
Fresh Cream or whipping cream, both works fine for this recipe. Whipping cream has more amount of fat content in it. For this recipe both cream works fine 🙂
