Eggless Wheat Cookies Recipe
Ingredients: (Makes 12 cookies)
- Wheat Flour – 3/4 cup
- Rava/Sooji – 2 Tbsp
- Baking soda – ¼ tsp
- Chopped Almonds – 2 Tbsp
- Powdered sugar – 1/3 cup
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Ghee – ½ cup (melted and cooled)
(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml
Vary the amount of sugar as per your sweet level)
Method: (With Step-by-Step Pictures)
In a bowl mix together flour, rava, baking soda and powdered sugar
Finely chop almonds
Add in vanilla essence and chopped almonds
Add ghee little at a time and start mixing. Knead until u get a dough together (Vary the amount of ghee to get the dough.)
Keep it in the fridge for 1 or 2 hrs. Remove from fridge. Apply little ghee to your hands and make it in to small oval balls
Place it on a baking tray. Put little chopped almonds on the top
Preheat the oven to 160 degree Celsius. Bake in the middle rack for 10-15 mins or till you start getting the baked smell in your kitchen. When you take the cookies from oven it will be soft, but once it cools down cookies become crispy.

Yes Minakshi it can be baked in the convection mode of microwave. Only difference time of baking may vary.

Hi Ruchika,
U can bake at 160 degree Celsius. It takes approx 15-20 mins in microwave convection mode. It can vary with the oven also. Basically u start to get baked smell in kitchen when the cookies are ready and cookies color becomes golden brown.
