Its one of the easiest snack that you can prepare. Hardly any preparation. Only thing you need to keep the fish pieces marinated so that the masala will get into the fish pieces well. Give it a try, I am sure your little ones will love it.
Fish Finger Recipe
Ingredients:
- Fish – 500g (Boneless)
- Egg – 2
- Bread Crumbs – 1 cup
- Oil – For frying
To Marinate:
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 4 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Soya Sauce – 3 tsp
- Salt
(Note: 1 Cup = 250ml. vary the amount of chilli as per your spice level)
Method:
- Cut fish into 2 inch long thin pieces
- Mix all the ingredients to marinate.
- Add fish into it, mix well so that fish pieces are coated with the masala, cover it and keep it in the fridge for 2-3 hrs

- Beat the egg well and keep it ready.
- Dip the marinated fish pieces in egg and then roll it in bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan and fry the fish in a medium heat until its brown in color.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.

Looks yum.
Can I freeze it for weeks in the freezer after coating with bread crumbs?
So that whenever guests arrive I can serve it quickly.
It would taste equally good? Or kinda rubbery?
Hi Melanie…..you can do that. But i suggest freezing max for a week. Taste will be equally good, infact i can say will be better since the spices would get into the fish really well
