Double Chocolate Delight
Ingredients: (Serves 3-4)
- Chocolate Bar – 1 bar (150g)
- Milk – 5 Tbsp
- Milk – 1.5 Cup
- Sugar – 1/3 cup
- Cocoa powder – 2 Tbsp
- Cornstarch – 1.5 Tbsp
- Eggs – 2
- Vanilla Essence – ½ tsp
- Whipping Cream
- Chocolate shavings
(Note: 1 cup = 250 ml
Vary the amount of sugar as per your sweet level
Vary the amount of ingredients as per the serving glass used)
Method:
In a saucepan take 1.5 cup milk and sugar, and bring it to boil and remove from stove
In a bowl take eggs and whisk it well. Add cocoa powder, cornstarch and vanilla essence and mix well. Add boiled milk one third at a time and whisk until well combined.
Break the chocolate bar and take in a microwave safe bowl. Add 5 Tbsp of milk and microwave for 30 sec at a time. Mix well and microwave again if required so that chocolate melts completely. Keep it aside
Bring the milk mixture to boil in medium flame, whisking continuously. Once it starts to boil, reduce flame and cook for half minute.
Remove from stove and add melted chocolate and mix well.
Take few short glasses and pour the mixture. Allow it to cool down and chill it. Serve cold topped with whipping cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy!!!!!
I want to replace the eggs in this recipe… Options pls with qty
Hi Keshwani….unfortunately i dont have a replacement for egg in this recipe. It comes out good with eggs only.
