About Me:

Hi….Myself Vimmy. I am from Kerala ‘Gods Own Country’. I now live in Johannesburg with my Husband and our little one……

I always had a passion for cooking. I used to help my mum in kitchen right from my childhood days. Started helping her in cutting vegetables and slowly started trying recipes. I was more interested in cooking something special for my Family rather than just cooking. My cooking experiments started in my school days and continued to my engineering college and professional life days. Engineer by profession with a passion for cooking 🙂 After marriage my husband always used to encourage me to cook. I left my MNC Job for my little one. We moved to Johannesburg and once I got settled I started to try different recipes. I was thinking one day to do some thing productive without compromising on the care which I should give to my little one and that’s how Vimmy’s Recipe World was born in 2013. After all kids in my society says ‘Sharing is Caring’. I am sharing with you all the recipes I know right from the most simple one to complicated ones. Because of requests from my friends, end of 2014 i started taking orders of Birthday Cakes & Special Occasion Cakes. Love doing these special cakes and feels fortunate to be part of every ones Special days 🙂

About the Recipes:

Most of the recipes are from my family, relatives and friends. Some are my personal creations, some from cook books, cookery shows and so on. In each recipe I always try to thank who inspired me or helped to cook the same. All the recipes are tested in my kitchen before I post the same. All the successful recipes get completed by a photo taken in my kitchen. I love clicking those pics as much as I love cooking. Try the recipes and your feedbacks, comments, suggestions are most welcome!!!!!
