Ingredients
  • All purpose flour (Maida)– 1 ¼ cups
  • Baking powder – 1 ¾ tsp
  • Cocoa powder – 4 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Vegetable oil – ½ cup
  • Buttermilk – 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 2 tsp
  • Salt – ½ tsp
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325. Line cake pan with baking sheet (butter paper) and keep it ready.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl take sugar and vegetable oil.
  4. Mix with a mixer in high-speed until its combined well
  5. Add the dry ingredients to it, little at time (about 2 tbsp) mixing after each addition in medium speed.
  6. Add to it vanilla extract and butter milk and mix well
  7. Pour the batter evenly into the cake pan.
  8. Bake in the middle rack for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool.
