Gothambu Appam (Wheat Appam)

Ingredients
  • Atta – 1 ½ cup
  • Water – 2 cup
  • Grated coconut – ½ cup
  • Yeast - ½ tsp
  • Sugar – 5 tsp
  • Salt
Instructions
  1. Grind together all the ingredients. (Just 2-3 min grinding is sufficient)
  2. Keep the batter overnight at room temperature for fermenting.
  3. Next day morning mix the batter well.
  4. Heat a flat pan and apply oil on the same.
  5. Pour the batter ( approx 6 tablespoon) and spread it to circular shape.
  6. Cover the pan and cook till appam is soft. (Cook in medium-low flame)
  7. Flip it and cook for a minute.
  8. Serve hot with varutharacha chicken curry or nadan chicken curry
