Gothambu Appam (Wheat Appam)

- Atta – 1 ½ cup
- Water – 2 cup
- Grated coconut – ½ cup
- Yeast - ½ tsp
- Sugar – 5 tsp
- Salt
- Grind together all the ingredients. (Just 2-3 min grinding is sufficient)
- Keep the batter overnight at room temperature for fermenting.
- Next day morning mix the batter well.
- Heat a flat pan and apply oil on the same.
- Pour the batter ( approx 6 tablespoon) and spread it to circular shape.
- Cover the pan and cook till appam is soft. (Cook in medium-low flame)
- Flip it and cook for a minute.
- Serve hot with varutharacha chicken curry or nadan chicken curry
